Though I'd taken a few classes before, I came to yoga more seriously in college as a way to combat the stress of being a student in a demanding school environment. I quickly found the physical and mental benefits of the practice to be transformative in my life and completed my first 200-hour teacher training program during the pandemic to deepen my practice. In my classes, I focus on alignment and functional movement, ensuring we're using our bodies optimally and moving with intention. I aim to help people develop a trusting relationship with their body, building a sense of safety, confidence and wonder within our selves (and probably sharing a laugh or two along the way).
Outside of yoga, I enjoy working with my good friends at Cents Pizza and Goods, and spending time with my partner - thrifting, cooking, eating, and worshiping our dog (for He is good).
